This year we wanted to spread an extra 50 miles of feelgoodness so… we made a bloomin’ big bottle of our best selling Orange + Mango Juice Drink and we’ve finally smashed our target!

Nine of our drinkers, who had the bottle to run in our bottle suit, volunteered to take part in spreading an extra 50 miles of feelgoodness!

First up was Barry Eastman who ran the London Marathon for Beating Bowel Cancer. Next, four of the Feel Good team staggered round the Tower of London all in aid of The British Heart Foundation! Stacey took part in Race for Life for Cancer Research UK and then there was Jeremy who ran the Coventry Fun Run for his chosen charity, Macmillian Cancer Support. Luke took part in Run for Moore at Blackheath for the Bobby Moore Fund. The final person to help us get to our 50 mile target was William at the Windsor 3km all in aid of Run for the Children.

This means that as well as spreading 50 miles of feelgoodness we have donated a staggering £2061 to six fantastic charities this year!

A huge thank you and well done to everyone who took part and watch this space on how we are going to spread more feelgoodness this year!

Bouncing along dressed in the Feel Good Drinks bottle was great fun on Saturday! On a really hot day I was joined by my son James dressed as a hare, so we provided some laughs + entertainment I am sure to the many children of all ages who took part in the Run for the Children 3K.

Thank you all at Slough Juniors AC for raising sponsorship of £200 and to Feel Good Drinks for matching that amount too.  Great fun and memories for a good cause, running around Windsor Great Park!

William has the bottle…

Hello!

I’m William and I’ve been running for 25 years but this will be my first time as a bloomin’ big bottle! I was roped into doing this by my wife Janet and by Conrad, the Chairman of Slough Junior Athletic Club who are marshalling the course on behalf of Run for the Children.  I suspect it was sneaky tactics on Janet’s part to make sure that both of our teenage sons beat me to the finish line!  One thing’s for sure though…whatever happens, I won’t be bottling out this Saturday!

This year we want to spread an extra 50 miles of feelgoodness so… we have made a bloomin’ big bottle of our best selling Orange + Mango Juice Drink!

For anybody who has the bottle to run in our bottle suit, we will match their fundraising pound for pound, up to £250, from our feelgoodness fund!

So far we have spread 43 miles of feelgoodness, thanks to some of our fantastic drinkers, read all about how we’ve done it here.

We have 3 more runs lined up this year which will see us smash our 50 mile target;

The Windsor 3k Fun Run in Windsor Great Park on 26th July, The Star Donor 3km fun run in Sheffield on 9th August and Adidas Women’s 5k Challenge in Liverpool on 7th September.

If you are taking part in The Windsor 3k Fun Run and you are up for the challenge of running in our bloomin’ big bottle, you should email us at team@feelgooddrinks.co.uk telling us why you want to wear our big bottle suit and give details of the charity you are running for by 18th July. A runner will be picked at random and we will be in touch.

If you are taking part in The Star Donor 3km or the Adidas Women’s 5k Challenge and would like to run in the bottle please email us by at least 10 days before the run with the details above.

We look forward to hearing from you!

I did it!!! I ran the Run for Moore at Blackheath Common yesterday in the Feel Good Drinks bottle suit!!!

I managed to do the 5km in 22 minutes so I was really pleased with my time considering I wasn’t in my normal running attire!!! I wasn’t embarrassed at all, in fact I absolutely loved running in the bottle – the crowd cheered me on the whole way round and everyone thought it was fantastic that my sponsorship was being matched by The Feel Good Drinks Company! Another really positive thing about running in the bottle was the fact that people didn’t want to be overtaken by me so that geared me on even more to run faster!

I would definitely be up for running the London Marathon in the bottle next year!

Luke has the bottle…

Hi, my name is Luke and I will be running Run for Moore on Sunday to raise money for the Bobby Moore Fund. Set up in 1993 the charity was set up in memory of the World Cup winning captain and raises vital funds for bowel cancer research. One of my colleagues was actually scheduled to don the bottle but had to pull out due to injury! Anyway, I am stepping into the breach to ensure that all the sponsorship money is justified by suitably embarrassing myself as I plod around the course.
